Making Waves for a Worthy Cause
As part of our 30-year anniversary celebrations, Crawford International Pretoria proudly hosted our very first Swimathon, the start of what promises to be a meaningful new tradition.
Our students took to the water with determination and heart, swimming as many laps as they could within a set time, all while being sponsored for their efforts. Every stroke was a step toward making a difference. Funds raised will go towards a worthy cause, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support shown by our community.
We are so proud of each and every participant who gave their all, demonstrating not only perseverance and resilience, but also compassion and a true spirit of giving.
Creativity on World Art Day
We celebrate World Art Day, a special occasion that honours creativity, imagination, and the power of artistic expression.
Our students embraced this day with enthusiasm, creating beautiful and inspiring works of art that reflect their unique perspectives and talents. From bold colours to intricate details, each piece tells a story and showcases the joy of learning through creativity.
Art allows our students to explore, express, and connect and today was a wonderful reminder of just how powerful that can be. We are incredibly proud of the passion and creativity displayed throughout the school.
Let’s continue to nurture young artists and celebrate the beauty they bring into our world.
Book Week
What a spectacular way to end Book Week at Crawford International Pretoria.
Students and teachers brought stories to life as they transformed into their favourite book characters, filling World Book Day with imagination, laughter, and a touch of magic. From brave heroes to enchanting creatures, and even a few hidden thespians who truly embodied their roles, it was an absolute joy to witness.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible moms and dads for the creativity, effort, and love poured into each costume. You helped make this day truly unforgettable, everyone looked absolutely amazing.
We also had a very special surprise for our students, Hooked on Books brought stories to life in the most exciting way. From our littlest students (age 2+) to… well, let’s just say the teachers had just as much fun.
The energy was incredible, and now everyone is rushing to the library to get their hands on these amazing books. When stories come alive like this, the love for reading grows even stronger.
Earth Day
Our Eco Club spent this year’s Earth Day making a real difference at Pretoria Primary School, where they rolled up their sleeves and got their hands into the soil. Students planted Spekboom—a powerful indigenous plant known for its environmental benefits, kindly sourced through our recent outreach initiative with Clothes To Good.
This forms part of our ongoing efforts to give back and promote sustainability within our community. The gardens at the school, which we have proudly adopted, were in need of some TLC.
With enthusiasm and care, our students helped to re-landscape the space, transforming it into a more vibrant and welcoming environment.
