Pre-Primary
Easter Egg Collection
At the end of last term on 27 March 2026, we were delighted to contribute to the Verulam SAPS Outreach Programme, where the Easter Eggs collected were distributed amongst underprivileged Early Childhood Development Centers and schools in the area.
World Book Day
What a magical day we had celebrating World Book Day at Crawford International North Coast Pre-Primary!
Our little ones arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life in the most creative and delightful ways. From brave heroes to whimsical fairytale friends, the excitement and imagination were truly contagious.
Throughout the day, our classrooms were filled with storytelling, laughter, and a shared love for books. Moments like these remind us just how powerful stories are in shaping young minds, inspiring creativity, and nurturing a lifelong love of reading.

WESSA Recycling - Pet Fish
As part of Crawford International North Coast’s involvement in the WESSA Schools Programme, the school remains committed to making a meaningful difference in caring for the environment.
Crawford International North Coast is excited to introduce a fun new initiative – their very own PET Fish! His job is simple… and so is everyone else’s: to help “feed” him with clean, empty plastic bottles.
Every bottle brought to school helps reduce waste and plays a small but important role in keeping oceans cleaner. While it may seem like a small action, these collective efforts grow into something truly powerful.
Together, the Crawford International North Coast community continues to work towards keeping the PET Fish happy and, more importantly, protecting the planet.
Crawford's Got Talent
Our cultural programme for the year began with the annual Crawford’s Got Talent show. Following an impressive number of entries, finalists were selected and rehearsals quickly got underway. Our talented students competed in two categories: Visual Arts, where they submitted artwork or photographs exploring the theme Water: Power or Fragility, and Performing Arts, which included Music, Drama and Dance.
Once again, the standard was exceptional with the competition being strong across all categories, and the judges faced a challenging task in selecting winners. Vrishti Singh was awarded the Visual Arts trophy, while Azania Mavimbela won the Performing Arts trophy for her outstanding solo dance performance.
The Rising Star Award was presented to Aadhya Madoo in recognition of her exceptional vocal performance, and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow as a performer.
While not every participant received an award, each student demonstrated courage through auditioning and commitment through rehearsing. In that sense, they are all winners.
College
Rocking Future Roadshow
We had the pleasure of hosting the Rocking Future Roadshow for our Grade 12 students: an inspiring and informative experience as they prepare for life beyond school. A range of private institutions joined us to engage with our students, sharing valuable insights into study opportunities, career paths, and what to expect in the next chapter of their journeys.
It was encouraging to see our students asking meaningful questions, exploring their options, and taking intentional steps towards their futures.
Book Fair
Crawford International North Coast in partnership with Bargain Books Ballito hosted a Book Sale. Alongside the sale, Bargain Books gifted us with a voucher for us to be able to purchase books that will be donated to an underprivileged school in Tongaat through the Interact Club.
WESSA
Grade 8 students from Crawford International North Coast College spent engaging time with the Grade 1 and 2 students, exploring sustainability and waste in line with the 2026 WESSA theme, “Waste”. Working collaboratively, Grade 2 students created posters with the support of their older peers.
While Grade 1 students, who were also inquiring into their future careers today, built structures using recycled materials, bringing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to life. A meaningful experience that strengthened community, deepened understanding, and inspired responsible action. Lots of fun and laughter was had by all.
Beach Cleanup
Our students took part in a meaningful beach clean-up at Westbrook Beach. With gloves on and bags in hand, they worked together to remove litter and help protect our beautiful coastline.
The initiative not only made a visible difference to the beach but also encouraged environmental responsibility and teamwork among our students. We are incredibly proud of their efforts in caring for our community and preserving our natural environment for future generations .
