Lonehill March 2026
April 17, 2026
Who We Are
Through playful learning, our Jelly Tots explored emotions in a hands-on and meaningful way. Using sorting and sensory play, they began to recognise and express different feelings while building confidence and self-awareness.
Moments like these help our students understand that all emotions are important and part of who we are.
Principled and Ready to Recycle
Our Crawford International Lonehill Pre-Primary students proudly took part in Global Recycling Day in partnership with WESSA.
Children brought recyclable items from home and through this hands-on experience, learned how recycling helps reduce waste, protect the environment and conserve our natural resources. A wonderful reminder that even the smallest actions can make a meaningful difference.
Preparatory
Learning in Action
Our Grade 7 students are diving deep into their studies through the dissection of fish, gaining first-hand insight into anatomy and biological systems.
This practical experience forms an important part of their learning journey, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. By engaging directly with real specimens, students connect theory to practice in a meaningful and memorable way.
Opportunities like these build confidence, teamwork, and observation skills while bringing science to life beyond the classroom. A truly immersive experience that inspires discovery and a lasting appreciation for learning.

From exciting matches to moments of teamwork and sportsmanship, it was truly a festival to remember.
A huge well done to all the students who participated, your enthusiasm, effort, and positive attitude made the event so special. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
Thank you to our coaches, staff, and supporters who helped make these two days such a success. Events like this remind us how powerful sport can be in bringing our community together.
Here’s to many more moments of fun, friendship, and great sport.
College
Lonehill College Hosts Successful Inter-Crawford Festival
Even the rain couldn’t dampen the incredible spirit at our Inter-Crawford Festival 2026 hosted by Crawford International Lonehill College.
Crawford Lonehill College proudly welcomed 600 athletes from Crawford Bedfordview, La Lucia, North Coast, Pretoria, Ruimsig, Sandton, as well as Crawford Tatu, Kenya.
Following a spectacular opening ceremony, the games got underway across Netball, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, and Chess.
Over the three-day sports festival, our athletes demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience, and pride. They have competed with determination, supported one another with sincerity, and represented their schools with true character and heart.
A special shout out to our Head of sport and her team, who spearheaded the entire festival, as well as all staff and coaches from all Crawfords, for their guidance, encouragement, and the countless hours invested in preparing and supporting these young athletes. Their impact reaches far beyond the field. The success of such an event is a reflection of a community that shows up, supports wholeheartedly, and takes pride in every moment.
Congratulations to our CCL netball and boys' hockey teams who both won the overall shield for their sport.
Above all, this festival has once again reminded us of the power of community, of what can be achieved when people come together with shared purpose, passion, and pride.
