Pre-Primary
Look who made a splash… Principal Kopano, Olympic-ready and absolutely serving in that SA costume. Heads turned, jaws dropped and the excitement levels. Sky-high! The moment she stepped onto poolside, the children were buzzing. But when she jumped right into the lesson, instantly upgraded to FUN LEVEL: MAX. And the highlight?
Swimming a full length together and finishing with epic HIGH FIVES like total champions.
Core memory unlocked.
Joy levels = overflowing.
School day = made.
Safe to say… swimming just got a whole lot more legendary.
Grandparents Day
Love stretches across generations at our Pre-Primary as we celebrate Grandparents and Friendship Day. Grandparents have a special way of making every grandchild feel like their favourite, and that warmth was felt throughout the day. The occasion became a joyful gathering of generations, filled with laughter, stories and shared moments.
Principal Kopano Dandala reflected on the meaning of the day, saying: “Thank you for being the roots that keep our children grounded and the wings that remind them they can soar. Let’s make today unforgettable.”

Celebrating Friendship Day
From the mischievous charm of Stitch to the bright, joyful spirit of Poppy from Trolls, our campus was filled with laughter, colour and kindness today.
Friendship Day reminded us that the little moments, shared giggles, thoughtful gestures, and cheerful smiles, are what create the biggest memories. The energy was contagious, the outfits were vibrant, and the sense of togetherness made the day truly special.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Grade 7 students who beautifully hosted a tea ceremony for the staff. Their warmth, effort and attention to detail made everyone feel appreciated and celebrated.
Here’s to friendships that brighten our days and memories that last a lifetime.
Councilor’s Induction
A proud moment for our Grade 7 students as they step into leadership through the Councilor Induction. Here’s to responsibility, integrity and making a difference.
College
U15 Shaun Fuchs Water Polo
Crawford International Lonehill proudly hosted the annual U15 Shaun Fuchs Water Polo Tournament from Thursday, 19 February to Sunday, 22 February, an event that has grown into one of the most respected platforms for emerging talent in our country.
Established to expand competitive opportunities for U15 girls in water polo, this tournament continues to offer young athletes a meaningful stage to test themselves, build confidence and flourish in a sport that demands courage, resilience and teamwork.
As we concluded this year’s event, we celebrated far more than final standings. We recognised progress, sportsmanship, and shared achievements. Over the course of the tournament, we witnessed exceptional skill, determination under pressure, and teamwork that reflected the very best of school sport.
To the 24 teams who travelled from across South Africa’s provinces, thank you for the passion and competitive spirit you brought to the pool. You enriched this tournament and honoured the game.
Our sincere appreciation to Kelsey Thomson and her organising team for delivering a seamless event, as well as to the referees and our Grade 12 Water Polo students who ensured that every match was managed with fairness and professionalism.
We would like to thank the parents, families, and supporters for their enthusiastic encouragement and for investing so wholeheartedly in these young athletes’ journeys.
Congratulations to Our Lady of Fatima Convent School for securing first place, Reddam House Constantia for second place, and Herschel Girls' School for third place. Your dedication and teamwork have set a wonderful standard.
May the spirit and momentum of this tournament continue to inspire growth, excellence, and unity throughout the season ahead.
U19 Basketball Tournament
We are incredibly proud of our U19 Basketball team for their outstanding performance at the recent tournament hosted by St John's College.
Invited to compete in a strong U19B Division featuring ten teams across two pools, our boys rose to the challenge with determination and unity. They recorded excellent victories against Lomagundi (Zimbabwe), and Alma Mater, ultimately securing 5th place in the division with a hard-fought 53–46 win against Redhill in their playoff fixture. Although the pool stages saw three wins and two close losses, the team competed with courage in every match, leading at stages in all five games and showcasing tremendous resilience.
The side was superbly captained by Mothusi Ramohlale. Lulonke Nkosimbini and Antonio Mabhena were leading scorers, while Thabo Qhamakoane impressed at both ends of the court, energising the team with his commitment and intensity. Modisha Mabitsi and Elihle Tyalimpi made valuable contributions off the bench, and our younger players, Michael Madziba, Riley Swanepoel, and Akani Ngobeni, embraced their opportunities with confidence and maturity. Ty Kenana also delivered a superb all-round contribution, strengthening the team effort throughout the tournament. The future certainly looks promising.
We congratulate all players who participated in the tournament and thank St John's College for the invitation and exceptional hosting. A heartfelt thank you to our parents for their enthusiastic support and to our Coaches for their thorough preparation and exciting game plan.
Special mention of Grade 12 student Antonio Mabhena who was acknowledged for his strong performances throughout the St John's Basketball Tournament by being selected to the B-Division All-Star Team. 5 players were selected for this team and Antonio was the best power forward in the division.
We are incredibly proud of Antonio as well as all our young men for representing Crawford International Lonehill with pride and sportsmanship.
