Family Picnic
Our annual Crawford International La Lucia Family Picnic was an enormous success.
Breakers Field was alive with excited and adventurous students who tried out the various inflatable jumping castles, foam pits and water slides and miniature train rides, which were the answer to a hot and humid Friday evening. A number of food stalls lined the outskirts of the field, and all of our families enjoyed what vendors had to offer.
The Family Picnic gave families a chance to relax together, and it was a perfect way to unwind after a busy week. Thank you to all the parents and families who attended the evening. We appreciate your continued support.
Pre-Primary
School Recycling Pet
Our students at Crawford International La Lucia Pre-Primary recently enjoyed an exciting and educational visit from Polyco, who introduced them to their brand-new Recycling School Pet Fish.
With plenty of laughter and hands-on learning, our students discovered the importance of recycling and how small daily actions can make a big difference to our planet. The highlight of the visit was learning what their new “pet fish” can “eat,” helping our students understand which recyclable materials belong in the correct bins.
Through interactive activities and engaging discussions, Polyco made sustainability simple, fun and age appropriate. Our young environmental champions are now excited and empowered to reduce waste, recycle responsibly and be part of positive change in our world.
At our Pre-Primary, we believe it’s never too early to start shaping responsible, caring citizens – and this was a wonderful step in that journey.
Valentine’s Day Celebrations
Valentine’s Day at Crawford International La Lucia Pre-Primary is always a celebration filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest smiles.
Our little students arrived dressed to impress in the most adorable outfits, proudly embracing the spirit of the day in shades of red, pink, and white. From heart-shaped accessories to carefully chosen “Valentine’s best”, each outfit reflected the excitement and joy that makes this celebration so special.
The day was filled with happy moments shared between friends – thoughtful gestures, giggles on the playground, and the simple magic of childhood connection. Valentine’s Day at Pre-Primary is not only about celebrating love, but also about nurturing kindness, friendship, and a sense of belonging within our Crawford family.
A day as special as this truly reminds us that the biggest love stories often begin with the smallest hearts.
Preparatory
Grade 7 Induction
At Crawford International La Lucia Preparatory, we believe that leadership is not defined by a title or a badge; but by everyday actions, thoughtful choices, and the positive impact that we have on others.
This belief was brought to life at our recent Grade 7 Induction Ceremony, where each student was presented with a Counsellor badge - a symbol of the trust and confidence we place in every child to lead in their own unique way.
Students committed to leading with integrity, empathy, and service; recognising that true leadership is about uplifting others. The lighting of candles served as a powerful reminder that one flame can light many - leadership, at its heart, is about contribution rather than recognition.
As the Class of 2026 begins this important chapter, we are confident they will lead with purpose.
