Crawford International North Coast Dancers Hit the World Stage
The Crawford International North Coast community is bursting with pride as they congratulate Grade 7 student Senzi Majola and Grade 8 student Nqoba Dlamini on their selection to represent South Africa at the United Dance Organisation (UDO) World Street Dance Championships in Blackpool, UK, this August. Their journey began last October when Senzi and Nqoba proudly represented Crawford International North Coast, at a competition where a panel of judges selected them to proceed to the Interprovincial Tournament (IPT) 2024, held in Cape Town. At the IPT, they represented KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) against top dancers from schools across the country. Following their exceptional performance, Senzi and Nqoba were elected for the South African All-Star Team, an elite team made up of top dancers from all provinces who excelled at the Cape Town tournament.
IsiZulu Concert
Crawford international North Coast College students proudly took part in the isiZulu concert for the very first time - hosted this year at Curro Hillcrest. Previously known as the “Zulu Evening,” this celebration has grown into a daytime event, bringing together schools from across the region. The concert honours our Kwazulu-Natal heritage and provides a meaningful platform for students to express their cultural identity through traditional Zulu dance, hymns, music, and more. A huge congratulations to all our talented students who participated.
Crawford International North Coast Student Leadership Body
Student voice is at the heart of the school's community at Crawford International North Coast. Each year Grade 11 students are given an opportunity to step into leadership roles through the Student Leadership Body (SLB). Those who meet the criteria of the application process are then required to present their manifestos to the school during a formal assembly. A democratic election is then conducted, after which successful candidates are formally inducted into the SLB.
The SLB term runs from the middle of the Grade 11 academic year to the middle of Grade 12, allowing students to confidently grow within their leadership roles and make a lasting impact on the school. These students have pledged their commitment to uphold the values and ethos of Crawford International North Coast, each bringing their fresh and unique perspectives, the school has no doubt that these students will lead with integrity, dedication and vision!
The school is proud to announce and congratulate the newly elected Student Leadership Body for 2025-2026.

Grade 7 Academic Awards Morning
We proudly celebrated the achievements of our Grade 7 students at our Academic Awards Morning, recognising those who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and excellence in their mid-year results. These awards reflect not only academic achievement but also the values of perseverance, personal growth, and a genuine love of learning. As we honour these accomplishments, we look forward to seeing how students from Grades 4 to 7 are setting their own academic goals. We encourage every student to stay focused, embrace challenges, and believe in the power of consistent effort hard work truly does pay off.
Mandela Day
On 6 July 2025, Sehshree joined hands with the OThongathi Outreach Foundation in a heartfelt community upliftment effort. With grace and humility, she dedicated her morning to preparing and packing a warm vegetarian meal of curried samp, beans and tomato chutney for the elderly residents of Tongaat’s cherished Pension Cottage. Sehshree’s commitment extended beyond the kitchen as she led the team in personally delivering over 100 meals, knocking on doors, sharing warm smiles and engaging in meaningful conversations with each recipient. Her presence brought comfort and dignity to those she served, turning a simple meal into a moment of joy and connection. As the day came to an end, Sehshree continued to help by tidying up, unloading crates and ensuring every task was completed with care. Her selfless service and compassion reflect the true spirit of Mandela Month and remind us that even the smallest acts of kindness can create ripples of lasting impact.
