LONEHILL
PRE-PRIMARY
Exploration with the Grade 00’s
While the Grade 00s were exploring different habitats, they were given an exciting challenge to design their very own creature! With incredible creativity and imagination, each child brought a unique creature to life, inspired by the environment it would live in. The real magic happened as they confidently shared their creations with their peers, proudly describing their creature’s features and habitat. The extra fun? Watching their creatures come to life right before our eyes!
Father’s Day Activities
We had an amazing time in Grade 0 celebrating all the awesome dads (and father figures!) at our special Father's Day event this week!
Our little ones had a blast:
· Kicking goals with their dads as the goalies
· Trying out some fun judo moves together
· Teaming up to build the coolest marble runs
· Creating amazing structures using Playdough and matchsticks, building, balancing, and bonding!
Thank you to all the wonderful dads who joined us and made the day so special. Your love, time, and involvement mean the world to your little ones.
Once again, Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Crawford International Lonehill!

COLLEGE
Grade 8 Art
This term, our Grade 8 art students have been diving deep into the theme of architecture, exploring its rich history through their artwork. They’ve produced stunningly detailed A3 pencil drawings of some of the most iconic buildings from the History of Art. The level of precision and dedication displayed in each piece is truly remarkable. Just take a moment to appreciate the incredible talent these young artists are showcasing. Their work demonstrates not only skill but also a deep appreciation for architectural design and history.
Jaime van den Bosch
A huge congratulations to 2023 alumna and second-year Stellenbosch University student, Jaime van den Bosch, on being selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming U20 Women’s World Aquatics Water Polo Championships in Brazil this August! This is an extraordinary achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of her. Jaime’s dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we are excited to see her shine on the international stage. We wish her every success on this incredible journey and will be cheering her on from all of us at CCL.
