Academics
Grade 1 – 7
We measure our students’ performance against credible
international standards. Crawford International Preparatory
Schools have been awarded authorisation as International
Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools offering the International
Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The programme
is internationally recognised and aims to develop students as
global citizens.
Our schools offer an enriched curriculum, incorporating technology to enhance the learning experience, a variety of extension and enrichment subjects and a focus on the arts. This allows our students every opportunity to develop holistically.
World-Class Education
Crawford International collaborates with the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) to bring world-class education to our schools.
The IB programmes are unique and encourage students to:
- think critically and challenge assumptions;
- evolve as inquirers, both within and beyond the classroom;
- consider varied contexts – personal, local and global – when engaging in their units of learning and the related conversations;
- engage with a diverse group of people in an increasingly globalised and rapidly changing world;
- become more culturally aware through learning additional languages and developing a rich understanding of varied cultures and countries;
- drive their own learning through ongoing self-reflection to determine their current strengths and ascertain the steps needed to enhance their personal understanding and skills;
- participate in programmes of education that can lead to entry into some of the highest-ranking universities in the world.
The International Baccalaureate further enhances the rigorous, globally-aligned academic programme at our preparatory schools, preparing students to excel at college and beyond.
