Academics

Grade 1 – 7

Curriculum and Framework

Across all phases, Pre-Primary, Preparatory and College, students follow the South African National Curriculum (CAPS) quality assured by Umalusi.

At College, the curriculum continues to high standards and prepares students to write the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) exams, equipping them for success beyond school.

Beginning January 2027, Crawford International Pre-Primary and Preparatory schools will transition away from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.

At Crawford International Preparatory Schools, we measure student performance against credible international benchmarks.

Our schools are authorised International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), a globally recognised framework that develops knowledgeable, caring and reflective students who are equipped to thrive as active global citizens.
