Celebrating World Bee Day
Grade 0000's wiggle waggled to two little Bee's in a beehive, learning fun lyrics as they danced and giggled together.
The creative Grade 000's made adorable bee crowns with two little antennae, proudly wore them and enjoyed a picnic in the gardens, keeping a watchful eye for real buzzing bees.
Grade 00's drew detailed bee pictures and learnt how bees pollinate flowers with their bodies. They also had the opportunity to learn how honey is made!
Grade 0's created beautiful bee collages using thumbprints, bringing their canvases to life with wonderfully unique interpretations of what their bees looked like.

College
Arts and Culture Chronicles
As part of the Grade 11 Tourism Culture and Heritage topic, students took part in an engaging, practical lesson today, that brought global cultures to life. Through food, attire, and presentations, they explored cultures such as Nigerian, Greek, Islamic, and Brazilian, highlighting identity, traditions, and the role of cuisine in heritage.
The activity linked to key tourism concepts, including cultural diversity, authenticity, heritage preservation, and the importance of culture in attracting tourists. It encouraged collaboration, confidence, and critical thinking, while promoting cultural sensitivity.
Overall, the lesson moved beyond theory, helping our Tourism students experience culture as a dynamic part of global tourism and understand its value in creating meaningful tourism experiences.
Celebrating Keyaan Dwomoh
Driven by Passion, Growth, and Excellence
We are incredibly proud of Grade 10 student Keyaan Dwomoh, and the maturity, dedication, and humility he continues to demonstrate as he grows in his motorsport journey.
Participating in the Volkswagen Rookie Test was not only an opportunity to develop technical driving skills, but also a valuable experience in understanding the importance of discipline, adaptability, professionalism, and personal conduct both on and off the track. Through media training, track sessions, and engagement with the wider racing environment, Keyaan embraced every challenge with courage and a willingness to learn.
What stands out most is his reflection on the importance of character, respect, and responsibility. These values matter just as much as performance itself. His perseverance in adapting to a new vehicle and environment, while continuing to improve with each session, is a wonderful example of resilience and growth in action.
We are equally excited to support Keyaan as he now takes the next step in his journey by participating in the Rookie Cup. This is an incredible achievement and opportunity, and we have no doubt that he will continue to represent himself, his family, and our school community with integrity and pride.
At Crawford Lonehill, we believe that true excellence is built through commitment, humility, and the courage to keep learning, and Keyaan embodies these qualities beautifully.
Congratulations, Keyaan. We look forward to following his exciting journey ahead.
