Grade 0 Fun Activity Morning
The sun was shining brightly, casting a golden glow over what turned out to be a truly delightful morning at Crawford International La Lucia. Our Grade 0 Fun Activity Morning, held on the Astro, provided the perfect setting for families to come together and enjoy a celebration of energy, enthusiasm, and early childhood development.
Parents gathered with warm cups of tea and a delicious assortment of snacks, chatting and soaking in the festive atmosphere while watching their little ones participate in a variety of engaging and playful activities. These were thoughtfully designed and facilitated by our dedicated Preparatory sports staff and coaches, who ensured that every child had the opportunity to move, explore, and shine.
From obstacle courses to team games and sports skills, the field was alive with laughter, excitement, and the sound of encouragement. The joy on the children's faces was truly heartwarming, and it was clear that both students and parents were making memories to cherish. It was an eventful and uplifting morning, and we couldn’t have been happier to witness such a wonderful turnout and the pure happiness radiating from our youngest learners.
Emotional Intelligence with Lara Craig
Our Crawford International La Lucia Pre-Primary parents arrived eager and open-hearted for a recent Emotional Intelligence workshop, thoughtfully facilitated by the insightful Lara Craig. With a warm and engaging approach, Lara created a safe and welcoming space for parents to deepen their understanding of emotional development in young children.
Throughout the session, parents listened attentively as Lara introduced powerful new concepts and practical strategies designed to foster emotional intelligence at home. She guided them through real-life scenarios and offered valuable insights on how to recognise, validate, and respond to their children's emotional needs with empathy and intention.
The workshop not only empowered parents with tools to nurture resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation in their children, but also inspired them to reflect on their own emotional responses and patterns. It was an enriching and eye-opening experience that reaffirmed the important role parents play in shaping emotionally intelligent, compassionate, and confident young individuals.
We are deeply grateful to Lara for her expertise and to our parent community for their enthusiastic participation in this meaningful and impactful session.

Drama Production Success
In May, Crawford International La Lucia College proudly hosted its highly anticipated annual Drama Production and this year, audiences were treated to not just one, but two captivating performances in a single evening of unforgettable theatre!
The productions, Haunted and One Lesson Too Late, were bold choices, dramatic, thought-provoking, and emotionally charged. Both plays were carefully selected to challenge our learners artistically and intellectually, pushing them to explore complex characters, deep themes, and innovative staging. These performances not only showcased the remarkable range and depth of our students’ dramatic talents but also their courage and commitment to the craft.
From the intense emotion and suspense of Haunted to the sobering reflection offered in One Lesson Too Late, each piece held the audience spellbound. The performances were executed with professionalism and passion, a testament to the many hours of hard work, rehearsals, and creative collaboration poured into the production by both cast and crew.
